Torngat Mountains National Park, Nunatsiavut

Nunatsiavut

If it’s breathing room you seek, look no further than Nunatsiavut, Labrador.  Translating to “our beautiful land” in Inuktitut, Nunatsiavut is an Inuit territory covering a vast area of northern Labrador.  And what a beautiful land this is.  Crisp clean air, breathtaking scenery, amazing wildlife encounters, and warm welcoming people all await you in Nunatsiavut.  In the Torngat Mountains National Park, the ancient cliffs of Saglek Bay and Nachvak Fjord rise dramatically out of the sea up to 900 metres high in places.  As you sail through these incredible mountains, keep your eye out for icebergs, eagles, wolves, caribou, whales, black bears, and polar bears.  In this land, nature comes in only one size – majestic.
